Southwest provides a military fare as a thank you for their assistance to military personnel and their families. Military passengers on active duty are exempt from the two-piece baggage restriction. They also don't have to pay any extra for excess, oversize, or overweight baggage. This is valid as long as each piece of luggage does not weigh more than 100 pounds. It should measure no more than 80 inches in length, width, and height. Furthermore, this personnel may receive transportation in cargo if the Customer is an honorable shipper.
